Farmer's Market2020-08-08T09:00:00The Main Street Steamboat Farmers Market, located on 7th and Yampa streets and the 7the street parking lot, is held on Saturdays from mid-June to Mid September. Our official hours are 9 am to 2 pm but if you are out riding your bike or getting in a quick run before the day’s events, you can usually pick up a cup of coffee, pastry or even a breakfast burrito before the crowds arrive.

Yampa River
Yampa River Clean Up2020-08-08T09:00:00The Friends of the Yampa, City of Steamboat Springs, and several other local groups will be hosting a river clean up event Saturday, August 8, 2020. The Steamboat Springs event takes place from 9 AM to 12 PM, meeting at the Parks & Rec Office at 245 Howelsen Parkway. Volunteers can check-in on Saturday morning starting at 8:30 AM at the Parks & Recreation Office to receive instructions and cleaning supplies. Volunteers are asked to wear a mask and practice social distancing when checking in and throughout the day.
Due to current public health orders around group size and contact tracing, anyone interested in volunteering in the Routt County events (Steamboat Springs and Hayden) are asked to sign up online by Friday, August 7. The online portal allows volunteers to pick which stretch of river they would like to clean, and provides details and instructions for cleaning each stretch of river.

Yoga on the Green2020-08-08T09:00:00oga on the Green at the Yampa River Botanic Park will be held Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 9 – 10 a.m., weather permitting. Meet on the Green!
Participation is limited to 50 people and is on a first-come, first-served basis. Please wear a face covering and space mats at least 6 feet apart.
Practicing on the Park Green is unlike any class you’ve ever taken. Surrounded by the beauty of nature, delicate gardens and a serene pond, you’ll find the peace and stillness are unmatched in the Botanic Park.
Please walk, bike, or carpool to yoga whenever possible as there is limited parking. For more information go to www.yrbp.org or call Patty Zimmer at 970-846-5608.

Telescopes will be onsite for stargazing in what will be a magical evening outdoors. This is a free, family-focused event, but all ages are welcome!
