January 14, 2020, 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM @ Bud Werner Memorial Library
Water conservation can help to sustain a healthy environment while improving the reliability of water supplies as the population grows and the climate warms. The city and the Mount Werner Water are partnering with YVSC to share presentations on water efficiency programs and initiatives across Colorado and an overview of the recently updated Water Conservation Plan. Afterwards, the community will be asked for input on the 2020 plan update.
Kevin Reidy, State Water Conservation Specialist for the Colorado Water Conservation Board, will present the latest on what is happening statewide in terms of water efficiency programs and initiatives. Courtney Black, Senior Water Resources Engineer with INTERA, has been working with the City of Steamboat Springs and Mount Werner Water to update their Water Conservation Plan. The City and District are currently seeking public feedback on the Plan. You may review and provide comments on the Plan at engagesteamboat.net/savewater.
