SNOWBOARD OUTREACH SOCIETY (SOS)

Overview

In collaboration with the Snowboard Outreach Society (SOS), we offer the

Learn-to-Ride and University programs for Routt County youth.

SOS is a non-profit organization that serves youth through the sports of snowboarding and skiing, adult mentoring, and civic engagement. The program uses snowboarding as a tool to convey the six core values of the curriculum:

  • Courage
  • Discipline
  • Integrity
  • Wisdom
  • Compassion
  • Humility

The program is responsible for recruiting participants and adult volunteers, as well as coordinating all necessary paperwork.
